What this actually involves

A document can be borrowed, altered or simply out of date. We check each claim at its source. For an address, a researcher goes there and asks the people who gain nothing either way: neighbours, the landlord, the local council. For a job, we ask the employer's own records office, not the number the applicant gave. For a certificate, we ask the school or the examinations body that issued it. We act only with the person's signed consent, and the report says what was confirmed, by whom, and what could not be.

What you receive

  • Each claim marked confirmed, partly confirmed or not confirmed, with who confirmed it
  • GPS-tagged photographs of the home or workplace visited
  • Stamped letters or signed forms from employers and institutions, where they give them
  • A plain list of anything that did not match what the person stated

Who commissions this

  • Banks, microfinance and SACCOs opening accounts and lending
  • Employers and recruiters hiring for positions of trust
  • Schools and hospitals taking on teachers, nurses and drivers
  • Landlords and property managers screening tenants
  • Embassies, NGOs and families abroad checking a person before they commit

Tell us where to go and what to confirm.

Send the location and the questions. We will come back with a fixed price, a named researcher and a date.
